ReBloom In Schools

In conjunction with Keep Mobile Beautiful and the Mobile Optimist Club, ReBloom is encouraging Mobile County schools to rebloom. Fifty area teachers attended a half day workshop in June and planted a demonstration ReBloom display bed at the Environmental Studies Center. These teachers are now eligible to apply for ReBloom awards to help with ReBloom Schools projects. ReBloom and gardening activities can be incorporated into many areas of classroom teaching. The button below is a link to some WWW sites that give lesson plans and information that teachers can use to incorporate gardening, botany, ecology and conservation into their studies.
